SAS tried to buy Sabena
posted in Uncategorized |Even though it might be difficult to belive in these times when SAS does it’s best to sell off most of it’s assets - Spanair, BMI, SAS Radisson Hotels etc - SAS tried to expand it’s business in the 1980:s through buying Belgian airline Sabena.
SAS:s CEO had already started branding the new joint airline “Scandinavian and Sabena - SAS”, but the proposal was later dismissed by the leadership of the Belgian airline. And Sabena later went bankrupt and exist no more.
