Stockholm is the second best hub in the world for start-ups of technology and innovation companies, after Silicon Valley.
SparkLabs Global Ventures do an annual analysis of the top global startup ecosystems in the world, and they’ve just completed the analysis for this year. Silicon Valley, Stockholm, New York City, London, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Beijing, Seoul, Los Angeles, and Boston was the at the top.
They have looked at factors such as: Funding Ecosystem & Exits, Engineering Talent, Active Mentoring, Technical Infrastructure, Startup Culture, Legal & Policy Infrastructure, Economic Foundation, and Government Policies & Programs. The scores (out of a total possible 80 points) with specific rankings:

A new bus company has started service from Stockholm to and from Arlanda airport (ARN).
Airshuttle charges 99 SEK when buying a ticket online, for a one-way ticket to or from Arlanda airport and Stockholm's Central station. The trip takes 35 minutes.
Flygbussarna has ran a bus service to the airport for many years. Arlanda Express train has the quickest, but also most expensive, connection. It is also possible to take the regular long distance trains or a commuter trains from the airport, with a surcharge of 75 SEK. |

The Stockholm Metro is expanding.
The blue line, which now ends at Kungsträdgården in the city center, will be extended in two lines. One will go to Nacka, and the other to Gullmarsplan, where it will connect into the current green line to Hagsätra, which will be switched into a blue line.
The blue line to Akalla will be extended in the west to Barkarby. This means yet another connection point to the commuter train system. This line also passes by Kista, one of the worlds biggest IT-centers.
A new yellow line will start at Odenplan and go to Arenastaden, where gigantic Friends Arena and Scandinavian Mall are located.
A total of 10 new stations will be built, and it will make public transportation in Stockholm even easier. Stockholm has one of the world's best mass transit system, and one of the highest rate of public transportation use. More than 70% of the Stockholmers use the public transport for their daily travels.

Bromma Airport is Stockholm's oldest and most centrally located airport. It has domestic and international routes. There is a bus connection (Flygbussarna) to the Central station in Stockholm for the price of 79 SEK. The journey takes approx. 20 minutes.
